Big bug in gutter dark souls 2.
2 points 2 years ago i have some serious issues with big bugs so in a game if there s a very big bug i either run like hell or get rid of it.
I have a friend who claims to be a super fan of the souls series and when i told them i wanted to start with dark soul 2 they told me that the game was awful a complete mess etc etc.
I tried to google about it but i wasn t satisfied by what i ve read.
While exploring the gutter i bumped into a giant ant that seems to constantly spit an harmless gas.

I was pretty close to buying the first game but i ended up picking up 2.

The gutter is a location in dark souls 2 a forsaken area of darkness and poison where things are abandoned and since forgotten.
There was also nothing in the cave after.

Basically the gutter is where all unwanted things go.
The bug is believed to possibly be an unwanted experiment which was cast away after there was no use for it anymore.
You can lock it so it seems an enemy but it doesn t hit back on you if attacked.
It s emitting some blue gassy stuff.
I killed it and it didn t fight back or drop anything useful.
So i myself always get rid of this one all the while fealing like i might pass out or vomit.
There s some kind of giant bug in a cave in the gutter.
Its lore is reminiscent of the valley of defilement from demon s souls and aesthetically it is an amalgam of that world and blighttown from dark souls the statues will shoot poison darts at the player.
